At The 1947 Store, we strive to deliver your premium men's wear as quickly and safely as possible. We partner with reputed national courier services (such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, and Ecom Express) to ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.



1. Order Processing Time
All orders at The 1947 Store are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or public holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.



2. Shipping Estimates & Delivery Timelines
Metro Cities: 3 to 5 business days.
Rest of India: 5 to 7 business days.
Remote Locations: 7 to 10 business days.
(Please note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen logistics issues or weather conditions.)



3. Shipping Charges
Prepaid Orders: We offer Free Shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹[Insert Amount, e.g., 999] across India.
COD Orders: A nominal Cash on Delivery (COD) handling fee of ₹[Insert Amount, e.g., 50] may apply to all COD orders.



4. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, The 1947 Store will send you a confirmation email and SMS containing your tracking number(s). The tracking link will become active within 24 hours of dispatch.



5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
For COD orders, our courier partner will only hand over the package after the payment is made. Open-box delivery is not available. Please ensure someone is available at the shipping address to receive the package and make the payment.



6. Damaged or Missing Packages
If you receive a package that is visibly damaged or tampered with, please do not accept the delivery and contact our customer support immediately at [Insert Email/Phone]. We recommend filming an unboxing video to assist with any claims regarding missing or damaged items.

 

Return and Exchange Policy

At The 1947 Store, we want you to look your best. If you aren't 100% satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help with a hassle-free return and exchange process.



1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
Time Frame: Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all The 1947 Store tags and packaging intact.
Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene reasons, innerwear, socks, and items purchased during "Final Sale" events are not eligible for return or exchange.



2. Exchange Process (Size/Style)
If the fit isn't right, we offer one free exchange per order.
Once your exchange request is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup. After the item passes our quality check, your new size/style will be dispatched.



3. Return & Refund Process
Reverse Pickup: We provide reverse pickup services for most pin codes in India. If your location is not serviceable, you may need to self-ship the item to our warehouse.
Refund Method:
Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (Bank/Card/UPI) within 5-7 business days after the quality check.
COD Orders: Refunds for COD orders are issued as Store Credit/Gift Vouchers or via Bank Transfer (you will be asked to provide your bank details securely).
Note: Shipping or COD handling charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.



4. Damaged or Wrong Products
In the rare event that you receive a damaged or incorrect item from The 1947 Store, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We highly recommend recording an unboxing video to help us fast-track your replacement.
